ETHICS
Ethics has no fixed face. Ethics and moral values change with changes in society on the back ground of time-space IE geography and growth and development of society and social values. Early Civilization had different value-sense ,social growth and adjustment happened accordingly.
In the earliest stage of Indian Civilisation in India more than one marriage or even marrying the same bride by all brothers was admitted for the sake of expansion of society and preservation of property within a family unit and also inspiring population growth. The best example is in Mahabharata -days, when all pandavas- brothers married one bride,-Draupadi or Arjuna conquered not only ot5her kingdoms but went on marrying the princess to expand the kingdom and improve relations with neighbouring states. To day the same incidence would reflect immorality.
