EPIC POEM (Experimental poetry)
Act -I : The park anywhere/ the bench in the park/ nearby - a roseplant/and the rose was there.

Act -II : The young lover in mood / clipped the rose with nails/ pinned it on lover's hair and girl in joyous bend/leaned on lover's shoulder/and a while beyond/the rose stooped down dying /to complete the lovers' game !

Act - III ( Closing Scene).
Neither HISTORY nor Posterity declared, - who paid how much on this EPIC Stage of LOVE !

PROMETHEUS :
Like a birdie carried by mother
taking life in the fold of your breast
out you are in the world wide

on all sides Time waits waylaying you
like a tusker malianant.
Afterall your troubles and tribulations
through all ups and downs of life
the fledging reared up by you so loudly
may behave like a falcon
and peck and lick you with its beak.
will you, then, be able to tell Zeus
like Promethius
well, - I loved and have no regrets

FRAME OF REFERENCE : WHETHER IT IS ART OR LITERATURE OR SCIENCE ,I THINK ,THE FRAME OF REFERENCE, APPLIES EVERY WHERE. JUST NOW I SAW A GOOD MOVIE DEALING ASPECTS OF A MIDDLE CLASS FAMILY CONCERNING THE PROBLEMS OF A BENGALI MIDDLE CLASS LIFE AND ISSUES ENCLOSING LIMITED SOCIAL SPHERE. THE PICTURE WAS VERY WELL KNIT AND VERY ARTISTICALLY DEALT AND THE DIRECTOR DESERVE ALL THE CREDIT MAKING THE 'REAL CIRCLE'. YET THE FRAME OF REFERENCE WAS LIMITED WITHIN SOCIAL CULTURAL SPHERE AND WOULD NOT ,PERHAPS INVOLVE THE LIVING UNIT OF PEOPLE ELSE WHERE OF OTHER CULTURE..
ON THIS BACK -GROUND, I WOULD LIKE TO REMEMBER AND MAENTION THE PICTURE 'PATHER PANCHALI' OF BIBHUTI BANDOPADHYAYA AND DIRCTED BY SATYAJIT ROY. hERE THE THEME WAS EVEN OF A MORE REMOTE VILLAGE LIFE OF A POOR BENGALI FAMILY BUT THE THE ESSENCE HAD SUCH WIDE FRAME OF REFERENCE THAT IT ALMOST EMBRACED THE WHOLE SET OF HUMAN EXISTENCE, LIVING AND SOUL-LEVEL THAT THE 'FRAME OF REFERENCE' INVOLVED EVEN ALL LEVEL OF SOCIAL LIVING AND EMOTIONS . THE PICTURE RAN FOR SO MANY YEARS EVEN IN NEWYORK OF U.S.A.

BETTER TO KEEP AWAKE
ON such sultry days as these
it is better to keep awake
taking a respite posture
from day to day
If I woo sleep
weariness grows apace -and
I dream dreams fatiguing !
What foul weather waylays me
and behind the screen of dreams
I retreat; all over smeared with blood
ruthlessly smitten by nightmares !

It's better far to sit up and recline
and put on semlence of being alive 1
