AUTUMN LEAVES (10/24/01), U.S.A

Crimson ,yellow or fiery pink
the Autumn leaves, - large and small
shrubs or trees - bulky , slender , -tall
and all awaiting the ushering 'Fall'.

I, too, with my aging gait
with bi-focal lense and fragile stoop
walking back , , to my lonely shade
guided by mystic fading Sun-set !

The crispy sigh of falling leaves
floating or dropping on my retracing path
trampel some, as I step on them
in helpless sigh , - yet looking on.

The spreading Autumn or spctrum fall
with my retracing steps and awaiting too
the Season or Nature or whatever you name
shall repeat its way while living through.
